For as long as I can remember, I have always been in love with nature and the outdoors. Born and raised in the southern tier and finger lakes region of NY, I have come to learn a lot about the plants, trees, mushrooms, and animals that I live among.

 

After high school in 2008, I started working as a nurses aid. I did this work for 5 years. Throughout this time, I did a great deal of research into the pharmaceutical industry and quickly realized that this wasn’t the way I wanted to be helping people. I started diving deep into plant medicine.

 

This passion for herbal wisdom eventually led me to a very magical place, Healing Spirits Herb Farm, where I started working on my days off from the nursing home. After doing this for a year, I was given the opportunity to work there as a full time employee and I did so for 6 years. My job involved starting seeds, transplanting, harvesting, wild foraging, digging roots, drying and processing herbs, and sending out orders.

 

I left Healing Spirits in 2020, to commit more of my time as a co-owner and founder of Komorebi in Naples, NY. I grew and sold medicinal herbs and herbal products through this company, and also brewed Kombucha.

 

Now, in 2022, I am launching my own business, Desire-Herbal! I plan to use all of the knowledge I have learned throughout the years to grow high-quality organic herbs. I will also be offering tisanes, salves, and other various herbal products. My mission is to help others to find their way back to living in harmony with the earth.
